We are recruiting on behalf of a global business for an Account Manager to join their head office in Hatfield. The role will consist of liaising with new and existing customers in relation to their contracts and retention queries. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background with the ability to manage customer accounts and complaints. This is the next stage of customer service and an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to develop their career further. £24,000pa rising to £27,000pa after probation

Overview of Duties:

• To build strong relationships with clients and become the ‘go to’ individual
• Client liaison in relation to their contracts
• Reviewing and renewing client contracts
• Following up with clients, ensuring they are happy with the service they are provided
• Review which areas of supply are most profitable
• Retain clients who enquire to terminate their contracts and companies who are changing hands
• Negotiate new contracts with clients to ensure they are happy, and the contract is profitable

Person Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Negotiation skills
• Previous customer service experience
• Comfortable with using CRM systems
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Excel
• Organised and ability to work with a flexible approach
• Ability to handle data from input to producing analytical reports
