Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with an outstanding candidate seeking their next permanent role in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London area.  A candidate that we have previously worked with and can highly recommend, this HR Manager has recently been made redundant after 10 years with their last employer where they were instrumental in leading the growth and development of a highly successful business.

Overview of duties:

  • Worked directly with Chief Executive, Board and Senior Management Team to lead the People Strategy for a business with circa 180 staff (grew from 60 staff in 2006)
  • Played an instrumental part in the growth of the business including; managing office moves, improving employee benefits, leading recruitment initiatives, ensuring staff retention
  • Managed and led the HR function with a team of 4
  • Developed and monitored performance review framework
  • Identified and implemented training and development strategy for all employees
  • Supported and guided line managers with employee relations and performance issues
  • Introduced and successfully rolled out new Contract of Employment and HR policies
  • Full budgetary responsibility for HR function including staff events and internal communications
  • Led the company’s inclusion in Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list in consecutive years by ensuring employee engagement
  • Developed competency framework for 360 degree feedback
  • Championed a range of creative Wellbeing initiatives to support peak performance

  • Car owner – flexible on location
  • Salary expectations circa £45,000 to £50,000+ dependent on location and role
