Jo Davies, joined us at Think as a permanent consultant at the start of 2017. We asked her how her first four weeks had gone and what her thoughts for the future are. 

So why did Jo join Think?  The culture of Think was a big attraction for Jo. Think's size ensures it can provide a great personal service to candidates and clients, but isn't too corporate. There's a strong team culture and Jo felt she fitted into the team stright away. 'Sharing the same values and approach to a client is really important to me'. 

Sharing an open plan office with the rest of the team, Jo wanted an atmosphere that encouraged team work. "I've laughed every day I've been here, but we're all really focused on doing a great job too". 

Jo, an experienced recruiter recognises that for most companies the recruitment process is similar. "But its how you execute it, that makes the difference. For me, success lies in providing a great experience, understanding the clients requirements by asking the right questions and making sure that the candidate is prepped too. From what to wear to briefing them on the client, it's important the candidate knows what to expect and is prepared. This is often overlooked with some recruiters". 

So what's in store next for Jo at Think?  "Well, I'm still getting to know how some of the specific things are done at Think and I'm out there now getting to know new clients who I know we can provide a great recruitment experience to". 

It's going to be a busy few months for Jo. Alongside her new role at Think, she's planning her wedding in Malta.
