We're bringing back our Temp of the Month awards as we have so many great, hard working temps working with us!
We enjoy giving out a treat in recognition of their dedication to their roles and the positive feedback we've had from our clients. The selection process is done by simply asking our client network to nominate a Think Temp who has gone above and beyond or has really stood out in the role they have come in to do. Temp workers can often get overlooked as their 'temporary' status can be seen as a short term fix but we have many clients who have permanently employed or requested a longer contract for those people that have come in and done their job to exceptional standards.
Which leads us onto starting 2024 off with a bang as we’ve got 2 awards to dish out! Towards the end of January we received a lot of nominations. Sadly not everyone can win, but there are 2 people that we couldn’t choose between as they made such a big impact in the roles they are in.
So, a huge congratulations goes out to… Claire Barnes and Lauren Gofford!
Claire actually originally came to us as a former client looking for work – someone who actually warmly greeted Bobby - our temp team manager, on his first ever client meeting in recruitment about 6 and a half years ago.
Claire has been nominated for being friendly, positive, extremely hard working, capable and for the sheer amount of support she’s been able to give this company and her new team in a short space of time. They also went on to say that she’s made a real noticeable difference to the workload for the rest of the team and in general, has been a pleasure to have around.
An amazing accolade to Claire and we enjoyed dropping your treats into you today!
Our other winner is Lauren Gofford.
Lauren came to us as a referral a while back, we kept in touch and were able to help her get into work quickly when returning from some travels.
Lauren’s nomination was for the huge impact she’s made in a short space of time supporting a HR team on an important project. She’s played a pivotal part in their compliance and processes which has helped the company hit their KPI’s for January. Her brilliant work ethic has also been commended and she’s been a pleasure to have with the team.
