We’re slowly starting to see some signs of life in the local market and I’m pleased to say that in recent weeks we’ve registered the most vacancies since March and pre-lockdown, so we are slowly returning to some form of normality - for now at least. We’ve set up video interviews for clients using our corporate Zoom account when needed but the majority of candidates we have dealt with have had no issues with socially distanced ‘face to face’ interviews when requested. We’ve seen a huge uplift in applicants and are allocating more and more resource into the hiring process for every client to enable us to shortlist the best and most relevant candidates available for each position.
Despite the downturn in recruitment activity over the last few months we have also continued to invest in and grow our team of Consultants. We now have an experienced Accountancy & Finance temporary recruiter who has joined Clare to grow this division for the business. We recruit for permanent, temporary and contract roles across our core business areas (customer service, administration, PA, office management, reception, marketing, IT support, sales admin) along with our growing Accountancy & Finance and Human Resources divisions. As an independent business, there is no doubt that we have been heavily effected by the impact of COVID-19 but I am confident that we are well placed to weather the storm.
