Christmas Pay Deadlines & Instructions 2024 - Temps

Please find outlined below the details and instructions to ensure you receive payment for hours worked over the Christmas period without delay:

As normal, all hours to be submitted in timesheets will be for hours worked in the previous working week, the reason for this email is that our payroll deadlines are far stricter during the Christmas Period, and this will avoid any delay in your payment.

We are also aware that some of you may have annual leave or days in which your office is closed and will not be working. Please confirm any annual leave or dates not working with your temp consultant so it can be logged correctly and added into our tracker to ensure you are paid any accrued holiday pay, then when submitting your timesheet, you will need to leave any annual leave days blank to the value of “00:00” with no notes, but ensure your leave is confirmed with us by Friday 20th December.


Week of 16th to 20th December:

  • Payment made into your bank account on Friday 27th December.
  • Timesheet must be submitted AND approved by 10am on Monday 23rd December.
  • Just to be clear, the hours you will be submitting to be approved by the 23rd are the hours you worked in the previous week.
  • We would strongly recommend you speak to your approver and submit your hours and get them approved on or by Friday 20th December to avoid any delays or issues after.
  • Timesheets not approved before the above deadline will be delayed by a week and fall into the following payroll.

 

This will help us work to a tight deadline to ensure you are paid on time, we suggest checking in with your approver early on to confirm they will be able to log in and check/action your hours by 10am on Monday 23rd December, or when you finish your last working day of the previous week.

Week of 23rd to 27th December:

  • Payment made into your bank account on Friday 3rd January.
  • Timesheets must be approved by 10am on Monday 30th December when we log in to run the payroll, this is very strictly put in place with our payroll provider and any timesheets not approved by this point will be delayed and paid in the following weeks payroll.
  • Just to be clear, the hours you will be submitting to be approved by the 30th December are any hours you worked in the previous week (Monday 23rd to Friday 27th December).
  • Please ensure that any hours are approved as well as any holiday you’d like to be processed, confirmed with your consultant as early as possible, to avoid this being missed.
  • Timesheets not approved before the above deadline will be delayed by a week.

 

Any queries over the holidays please send an email to your relevant consultant and to ensure nothing is missed, please include [email protected] in any communication.

 When we log on over the Christmas period to run the payroll your timesheet will need to be submitted AND approved by 10am on Monday 30th December as we will only be logging on to process this payroll and the office will not be open, so we strongly recommend planning around this date with your timesheet approver and having it approved ahead of time.

 

Week of 30th December to 3rd January:

  • Payment made into your bank account on Friday 10th January.
  • Back to normal, please have your timesheet submitted and approved by Tuesday 7th January.
