Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a medium sized enterprise in the recruitment of a Finance Manager / Accounts Manager.

This role includes supporting a team of 3 in a supervisory capacity. It should be noted that it is full time in the office, and you will need to be able to drive as it not accessible on public transport links.

Your day to day responsibilities include:-
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and the Annual Business Report and Accounts
• General Accounting and Bookkeeping duties
• Processing of Expenses for all staff
• General Ledger management
• Balance Sheet management
• Credit Control
• Dealing with service charge queries by email and phone.
• Direct Debit run
• Bank Account reconciliation and management
• Preparation of TAX and VAT returns
• Ensuring regulatory and statutory returns of financial information are submitted accurately and on-time.
• Maintain accurate and reconciled records of information for Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Payroll (preparation and submission including pension management)
• Company Car and benefit administration and management (inc P11d)
• Responsibility for the petty cash.
• Inter-company billing/journals
• Preparing the supplier payment runs
• Prepayments and accruals
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register

This role would be suitable for someone who is either Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA,CIMA or alternatively QBE with relevant experience in a similar role.

This role requires high levels of accuracy and someone willing to get stuck into the detail. it is not a management role but will include supervisory responsibilities therefore it is a hands on position.
