Are you looking for a part-time, permanent role as an Accounts Assistant?

A desirable opportunity to join a busy finance office based in Watford, playing a vital role in assisting the day-to-day running of financial processes. 

This is a part time position where the company are seeking someone who can work Monday to Friday with a working pattern from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm or 9.00 am to 2.30 pm. This role will suit someone looking for a term time only part time position.

Responsibilities
Financial Recording & Administration

• Manage financial administration, including budget coordination, payment collection, and invoicing oversight.
• Update payment status and advise on corrective action.
• Conduct financial reconciliation and advise promptly on any over/under spends.
• Reconciling and recording monies for banking.
• Post cash receipts.

Financial Processing

• Execute various financial processing tasks, such as raising purchase orders, handling invoices, and processing payments.
• Manage customer invoices and pursue outstanding payments.
• Process staff reimbursements and initiate payments to suppliers/customers via BACS, same-day payment, or international transfer.

Financial Support

• Address phone calls and queries promptly.
• Undertake other generic finance-related tasks.

We are looking for someone who is has done their AAT Level 3 or 4 or is QBE, has experience working in  financial administration and can work under pressure in a busy, high performing environment.
