Reporting to the Accounts Receivable/Cash Manager, you will support the team in reviewing debtors ledgers and assist in processing cash transactions. With experience in customer relationship management and credit control, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough review of debtors ledgers, addressing unreconciled differences and posting reconciliation adjustments as needed.
• Serve as a key contact for internal and external customers.
• Support credit control processes to collect outstanding debts following a ledger review.
• Assist in processing cash transactions, including maintaining cash books and performing bank reconciliations.
• Handle processing and payment of upfront payments, including VAT payments.
• Assist the AR/Cash Manager with ad hoc queries/tasks, including auditor queries.
• Support and cover the Sales Ledger Clerk in raising and distributing invoices.
• Understanding of core functions in a finance shared services department.
• Familiarity with finance processes and UK/overseas VAT.

• Strong communication skills with confidence and credibility at all levels.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a finance team in a transactional capacity.
• Experience in credit control and debtors management.
• Familiarity with Business World or other ERP software.
• Recognised accountancy qualifications (e.g., AAT) are desirable.
