Do you have extensive experience in developing and implementing talent development strategies? Are you interested in working for a large, fast paced and high-growth business where their transformation agenda is putting their people at the heart of what they do? Are you excited by the prospect of taking ownership of their talent development programme? We are working with a global organisation based in the Heathrow area to recruit a Talent Development Manager for both their UK and international employees.
We are looking for candidates with experience of implementing talent development programmes, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to identify how this business can best develop their employee careers, retain their employees and ensure clear career paths and succession plans are in place.
Role overview:
- Developing the global talent development and management strategy which will implement the identification of talent drivers, key skills, roles, and people required to deliver business strategy.
- Delivering performance strategies to ensure that a culture of high performance and real-time feedback is achieved.
- Leading the definition and delivery of the talent and performance strategy for the Business
- Operating as a trusted advisor and expert in the performance and talent space for key stakeholder groups
- Defining the framework for and manages the cyclical talent and performance management processes. (Goal setting, performance reviews, succession)
- Reviewing existing talent and performance activity/processes, to enhance and introduce new value add activity in the talent and performance space.
- Leading and delivering Talent & Performance projects including idea generation, design and implementation collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Acting as the main point of contact for any talent & performance related activities
- Accountable for training and communications related to talent & performance
- Accountable for developing and managing emerging talent programmes.
- Leading the definition and delivery of the diversity and inclusion strategy, setting key metrics and tracks performance against these.
- Develop and delivers initiatives to create a more diverse and inclusive culture.
- Support the development of our employee networks and D&I champions.
- Keep up to date with external D&I developments and best practice.
Candidate requirements:
- In depth knowledge of Talent development & performance
- Excellent knowledge of Talent & Performance systems / tools
- In depth knowledge of human resource management best practices, especially within Talent & Performance space
- Strong planning & organisational skills
- Strategic thinking, holistic approach
- Excellent analytical skills and problem structuring
- Innovative thinking and creative and pragmatic problem solving
- Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, promoting trust and a partnership approach
- Influencing skills across colleagues and line managers
- Able to work as a team player in a complex, cross functional, operational
environment
