Think Accountancy and Finance are seeking an experienced interim Accountant to join a large business in Leavesden for a 6 month contract as a Statutory Reporting Accountant.

The position will report into a Finance Business Partner and would suit someone who has an Audit background.

Key responsibilities include:

• The finalisation of IFRS consolidated PLC Statutory accounts up to June 2023.
• Prepare IFRS/FRS 101 subsidiary statutory accounts.
• Review interview review schedules for two audit exempt legal entities
• Assist Company Secretary with filing dormant legal entity statutory accounts

Our client is seeking a Qualified Accountant who is either currently or has previously worked in Audit at a senior level. It is essential you have the following proven experience:

• Recent statutory reporting experience
• Technical knowledge of group consolidations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience using consolidation and statutory reporting software

The client is seeking someone to start by the end of May so it is essential you are immediately available.
