Think Accountancy & Finance are working with a fantastic business in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team on a fixed-term contract. This position has an Accounts Recievable focus. 

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 1–3 years’ experience in finance or accounts support, particularly within Accounts Recievable, who’s confident with reconciliations and ready to take the next step in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Background

• 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts assistant role

• Hands-on with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries

• Comfortable using ERP systems 

• Experience in high-volume or multi-site environments 

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2 or 3 (or currently studying towards it)

• Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas 

Technical Confidence

• Able to pick up new systems quickly and solve issues independently

• Highly organised and detail-focused

• A natural problem solver who takes ownership

• Confident communicator across teams and departments

• Works well both independently and as part of a team
