Junior Accounts Assistant (SME Finance Support)

Are you looking to kick?start your finance career in a supportive SME environment?

We’re recruiting for a Junior Accounts Assistant to work closely with the businesses Finance Manager and Management Accountant, gaining hands?on experience across all areas of accounting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Raising sales invoices
• Posting purchase ledger invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing supplier payments
• Answering queries from suppliers and customers
• Maintaining spreadsheets on Excel
• Assisting with any filing and ad?hoc data tasks

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally 6 -18 months’ experience in a busy finance team
• Strong attention to detail and posting accuracy
• Comfortable with Excel (basic formulas, data entry) and MS Office
• A positive, can?do attitude and genuine willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work across two sites (Milton Keynes & Aylesbury)
• Confidence speaking on the phone and supporting colleagues
