Payroll Support Administrator | Chester | Office-Based | Permanent
Salary £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE) | Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30

What you’ll be doing

• Accurately process payroll for employees and subcontractors, ensuring timely payments
• Handle statutory payments, pension auto?enrolment, and RTI/FPS submissions
• Maintain clear communication on payroll inquiries (tax, administration, timesheets)
• Support invoicing for agency clients and manage related receipts
• Keep internal teams updated on payment statuses and agency invoices
• Assist with ad?hoc administrative tasks as needed

Who we’re looking for

• Some payroll experience (even 6–12 months is fine)
• Sharp attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Confidence discussing payroll/tax queries with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A true team player who can prioritise under pressure
