I’m recruiting for a Full-Time Receptionist to work with a company in their very luxurious and trendy offices in the Maylands area in Hemel Hempstead.

You’d be working in offices that both myself and many others describe as “beautiful offices”, as well as working with a genuinely lovely and supportive bunch of people on a daily basis and with a company that are doing something which actively makes a difference.

As part of the role you’d be part of a reception team and often working with 1-2 other people, this is very much not a reception role where you’re flying solo.

This is going to be on a long-term and ongoing basis – The potential of this going permanent in the future has been discussed too.

Full training will be provided and daily support from other members of the team – So any previous reception or front-of-house experience is ideal, but equally good customer service/people/admin skills are just as important.

We’re looking for someone that can be flexible on times and ideally be open to working either an 8am to 4.30pm or 9am to 5.30pm shift pattern - With an hours lunch break.

This role will be paying approximately £14.00 - £14.50 per hour (+ holiday accrual) and will be paid weekly.

Plenty of on-site parking and some good public transport routes available from within Hemel Hempstead.

What does the day-to-day look like?

You’d be working as part of the companies reception team, as such the role is fully office based as you’ll be dealing with visitors to the offices, meeting and greeting them or directing them to the right location; as well as taking calls/messages and forwarding to the right person.

As well as the daily core reception duties, there will be administrative tasks to keep you busy as well, different projects/tasks, invoicing etc.

What do we need from you?

Due to the nature of the role detailed above, you’ll either need previous reception experience or fantastic communication and people skills and solid computer skills too.

Due to the location of the offices, you will ideally be a driver who can easily access the Maylands area in Hemel Hempstead, or public transport is an option but those routes typically run from within Hemel Hempstead.
