Our client whose state-of-the-art head office is based in Hatfield, is seeking an Account Manager to join their outgoing, driven and friendly team. The role will consist of maintaining their client base and developing existing and new relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have previous account manager or sales experience and the confidence to build relationships with customers on a day-to-day basis. Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm 
Salary: starting on £24,000 and after probabtion £27,000

Overview of duties:

• Taking inbound calls and engaging with customers.
• Address and resolve any issues where customers are in breach of their contract and ensure the customer is fulfilling their contractual obligations.
• Provide a personable and professional service.
• Ensure all site information is up to date on the database with new clients and new sites.
• Manage escalation requests within agreed timescales.
• Working well in a team, working closely with other departments.
• Be responsible for all related administration tasks.
• Being organised and managing ‘Tickets’ on the in-house database.
• Ensuring engineer queries and issues are followed through until completion.
• Problem solving following processes within a busy environment.
• Representing the company well, ensuring customers are given a great service.
• Multi-task and make key decisions.

Person Requirements:

• Strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to defuse difficult situations
• Build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Work proactively towards targets
• Ability to confidently communicate
• A good team player
• Thrives in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
• Ensures a high level of organisation
