Think Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be supporting a client in the recruitment of a Practice Manager or Accounts Senior who will be AAT Level 4 Qualified and ready to start their ACA or ACCA qualification or PQ ACA/ACCA.
The role will support 4 or 5 junior staff so some supervisory experience will be beneficial in this position. You must also have worked in a practice and be used to managing a portfolio of clients.

The role is based in a fun and vibrant office in the Watford area! A great opportunity for someone to take their next step in practice! Duties will include:

• Managing 4/5 junior staff who are completing AAT at various levels.
• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparation of basic personal and corporate tax computations and returns
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Profit and Loss Statements
• Be the first point of contact for all clients, ensuring all questions and queries are responded to in a timely manner
• VAT Returns
• Liaise with HMRC as required
• Ensure the team are managing client expectations
• Be the first point of contact for client queries as required
