We are pleased to be recruiting for a company based in Kings Langley, our client is looking for an Office Administrator to join their team. Ideally someone that has admin experience but someone that is self-motivated, hardworking, proficient in Microsoft office suite of products with excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
Duties:
- Opening and distributing post on a daily basis
- Answering phones and directing calls to the relevant person
- Registering purchase orders on the Purchase Ledger accounts system
- Distributing purchase order numbers to staff and suppliers
- Ordering stationery
- Managing the development and maintenance of the office facilities, equipment and consumables
- Booking flights and accommodation
- Compiling shipping invoices for export when necessary
- Keeping mobile phone records up-to-date and ordering new phones
- Updating holiday records
- Updating staff movements spreadsheet on a monthly basis
- Assisting with marketing by placing advertisements, organising company literature and managing attendance at exhibitions and conferences
- Completing client questionnaires
- Maintaining and archiving project files
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 1 years administrative experience
- Self-motivated
- Hardworking
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- The ability to communicate effectively to all customers and employees by phone and email
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (predominantly Outlook, Word and Excel)
