Think Accountancy and Finance are supporting a local business in Luton in the recruitment of a Finance Analyst.

The role will focus on managing a number of projects where they will be responsible for recording cost and revenue transactions, billing and gross profit analysis. Other duties will cover forecasting again budget and detailed reporting as required by key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supporting finance period end including accruals and prepayments.
• Full manufacturing variance analysis
• Provide management with sound financial reports to make informed decisions and to better understand the key performance drivers.
• Present findings of financial analysis to drive increased revenue, cost control and improve margins.
• Conduct in depth Competitor Analysis on specific businesses, their product offering, their pricing, their approach to the market, etc, to gather intelligence for the business.
• Data and Finance Analysis.
• Commercial support.

Candidate Requirements

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA part-qualified, Finance/ Accounting/ Business/ Economic degree.
• Advanced excel skills essential as majority of the role revolves around excel data.
