Join a dynamic and expanding Finance Division at our client's modern offices in Watford. We're looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to contribute to a small yet growing team within a successful business. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who appreciate the stability of an established Accounts Payable position within a fast-paced environment.

Office hours are 9am to 5:30pm with an hour’s lunch break, the position is fully officed based.

Salary is £25,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Payment Processing

• Prepare the payment run twice weekly.
• Raise payments on the applicable bank.
• Post and allocate payments from the bank statement on a daily basis.

Invoice Management

• Handle credit card payments.
• Key in supplier invoices accurately.
• Upload supplier invoices to the finance system.

Supplier Relations

• Review and assess new supplier applications.
• Address supplier queries, requests for statements, and reconciliations promptly.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain a seamless workflow.
• Provide support to the credit control department during peak times or staff absences.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, experience in a similar Accounts Payable role and the ability to thrive in a busy and vibrant team environment.
