We’re recruiting for a Receptionist to work with a company moving into their new offices in the Maylands area in Hemel Hempstead.
You’d be working in shared offices that have often been describe as “beautiful offices”, as well as working with lovely and supportive people on a daily basis and with a company that are doing something which actively makes a difference.
This is going to be an initial temporary position for the next 6 months (at least) and requiring someone to come in and start ASAP.
Full training will be provided and daily support from 2 other members of the team – So any previous reception experience would be ideal, but equally they are happy to consider someone who has good people and administration skills.
The reception area operates from 8.45am to 5.30pm, so you’d need to be able to work these hours, although some flexibility could be given (5pm finish etc.) – With an hours lunch break.
This role will be paying approximately £12.50 per hour (+ holiday accrual) and will be paid weekly.
Plenty of on-site parking and some public transport routes available from within Hemel Hempstead.
What does the day-to-day look like?
You’d be working as part of the companies reception team, as such the role is fully office based as you’ll be dealing with visitors to the offices, meeting and greeting them or directing them to the right location; as well as taking calls/messages and forwarding to the right person.
As well as the daily core reception duties, there will be administrative tasks to keep you busy as well, different projects/tasks, invoicing etc.
What do we need from you?
Due to the nature of the role detailed above, you’ll either need previous reception experience or fantastic communication and people skills and solid computer skills too.
Due to the location of the offices, you will ideally be a driver who can easily access the Maylands area in Hemel Hempstead, or public transport is an option but those routes typically run from within Hemel Hempstead.
