Are you looking for temp work for the rest of the year that will keep you busy right the way through to January?

We’re recruiting for a specialist events and “experience” company based in the Bourne End area of Hemel Hempstead to help them find a temp Administrator for the coming 3-4 months.

You’d be working in a very relaxed and friendly environment, surrounded by a small and helpful team of people who are all focussed on ensuring their clients have great days on site during whichever experience they’ve booked onto.

This is going to be an initial temporary basis for the coming months covering someone that will be away on Maternity leave and specifically their upcoming peak period, the person is going away from the start of December, so the sooner you can start the more of a handover that can be given.

Day-to-day you’ll be processing orders, helping organise the daily rota for the experiences, helping manage and run various spreadsheets and also responding to customers and enquiries.

You’ll need to be a very organised and self sufficient person to handle this role, ideally with good admin/office experience behind you already.

The role is on a temporary basis, paying the right person £13.22 per hour + holiday accrual and will be paid weekly.

Hours are 8am to 6pm with an hours lunch break, working on-site Monday to Friday.

Please note due to the location of the role, you’ll either need to be very local to the Bourne End area of Hemel, or a driver with your own vehicle.

What does the day-to-day look like?

The company are an events specialist and experience provider, so you’ll be helping to take in bookings and process orders, managing the daily event/customer list and relating to the experience booked, managing a database of what’s available to them.

You’ll also need to have good people skills though as you’d be speaking to customers over the phone and going back to requests via email too.

What do we need from you?

You will need to be free to start work asap or the absolute latest start date for anyone would be the first week of November to allow a good handover.

Looking for someone with good attention to detail, previous computer/admin skills and must be a very organised, self-starter.

Due to the location of the offices, you will ideally be a driver who can easily access the Bourne End area, or very local to the area.
