Junior Management Accountant

£32,000 to £34,000

Think Accountancy and Finance are representing a fantastic business in Borehamwood looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join their growing team.

As a Junior Management Accountant, you will report to the Finance Controller and play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility between the office and home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and financial documents
• Measure financial performance and identify problem areas
• Communicate financial data to non-financial managers
• Maintain Sterling bank accounts and manage cash book transactions
• Process till incomes and oversee weekly cash deposits
• Assist with month and year-end audits and financial reporting
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain compliance with statutory requirements
• Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and systems

To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience:

• Proficiency in spreadsheets
• Experience using accounting software
• Previous experience in cash flow, financial data processing, or bookkeeping is a plus
• Strong organisational skills
