As an Account Manager you will be the main point of contact for an existing client base and own the responsibility of building and maintaining strong relationships in order to increase sales to the business. This is an exciting opportunity for you to own and run with this role to develop relationships and increase the spend for the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the main point of contact for all existing and new customers
• Call existing customers to develop relationships and develop the customer spend with cross selling and upselling with company products
• Support the Customer Services team where necessary
• Be the link between the office and customer
• Quoting and pricing
• General administration
• Work alongside the Internal Co-ordinator to convert sales quotes to orders
• Gather information on competitor and domestic market activity

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proactive, positive and presentable
• Ability to learn and pick things up quickly
• Sales experience or the want to develop into a Sales environment
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work unsupervised within a team environment and take responsibility for a wide range of tasks
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• IT literate
• Commercial awareness
• Organised and driven
